All Hail Valley Gardens

Where have you been grateful for over lockdown? Which spot has saved your bacon when you've just needed to break away from the cabin fever - inducing feeling of staying at home?

For us, we have been so very lucky to have the glorious Valley Gardens on our doorstep. These 17 acres of park, woodland and florals are home to more mineral springs than anywhere else on the planet, with 36 of Harrogate’s 88 mineral wells found here.

The gardens also feature a children's play area, tennis courts, crazy golf, a skate park, a Japanese garden (for ultimate sanctuary) and a café which serves the best hot chocolates in Harrogate - there we said it!  

Meanwhile the Art Deco Sun Pavilion (a wedding and events venue) watches over and offers the most stunning vistas of the gardens.

Wherever you have found your solace over this time, when all of this is over you will look back on that spot with extra affection, the magic of the natural world around us.
