Dog Fest 2024

The Harewood House Dog Fest is back! 

Taking place next Saturday 7th September 2024, this is an unmissable event for all dog lovers and dog owners. 

What to expect 

The first thing to expect is lots and lots of dogs! Which means plenty of water stations for them and places to meet up with other dogs and their humans. See website for details. 

There are also lots of fun Give-It-A-Go activities. Have you ever wondered how you dog would do getting around an agility course or wanted a go at hay bale racing or fly-ball? Or maybe you are even wondering what these terms mean? There is only one way to find out, head to the give a go stands and watch your dog have lots of fun.

Come along to the show stands, where your dog can win coveted titles such as "The most handsome chap", the best at catching treats, "the most embarrassing out" or "the pup the judge would most like to take home with them. 

Not all for the Dogs

There are is also a kids zone with fun rides for the under 15s. We brought my 4 year old niece last year and she had a wonderful time on the trampolines and frees wheel. So much so, that getting her off proved to be a it of a challenge! 

Shopping and other stalls

You will also find an ample surply of pet shops at the Dog Fest, with the latest in dog fashion and accessories. For those more into the practical side of owning a pet, there are also plenty of toys, harnesses and collars on display as well, not to mention food!. 

Ever thought about donating to the "Dog's Trust? Good news!  A percentage of all tickets will go to aid their work. They also  have information on how to sign your dog up as a service dog and how to get involved in their work.
