Why Harrogate?
Harrogate is known for being the shopping destination in North Yorkshire. When Harrogate was first created as a spa town people used to come for miles to do their shopping here. So Harrogate and fashion are synonymous!
And what does shopping mean?
Fashion! In recent years Harrogate has become the hub for fashion shows with the bridal exhibitions and fashion weeks taking place at the Harrogate Convention centre.
Previous Designers: have come from all over the world, often stopping off at Wuhan Province in China to pick up their specially manufactured samples, as it was a way of ensuring the quality. Whether this trend continues we wait to see.
Previous designers and distributors staying with us have been UK based often accompanied by their own models. They required free parking, sufficient space to store their stock, great beds, a place to meet and a short walk to the Convention Centre.
Artists’ House and Artists’ Cottage tend to be most favoured as they can accommodate 4 guests in separate beds in two spacious bedrooms and have adaptable accommodation on the ground floors. Artists’ Place and Artists’ Corner are nearby, they can accommodate 3 guests in separate beds in two bedrooms. All 4 properties are just a short walk to the Harrogate Convention Centre. In the past some designers have taken all 4 properties in order to accommodate their employees.
