Harrogate Food and Drink Festival 2023

Had a wonderful time at The Harrogate Food and Drink Festival last weekend. It was great to see The Stray so busy! 

Everything from magic, to live music, petting zoo and opportunities for shopping as well as some amazing food and drink. It was so great to see so many local businesses selling their produce. Yorkshire after all is the home of the best of British food and drink varying from cheese and wine, to local farming which you could find on display.  Several local distilleries, vineyards, breweries and orchards were there.  If you are a gin lover then you would have been in your element. 

There were also workshops and demonstrations from TV and social media chefs.  I partially enjoyed the cheese tasting, from award winning cheesemongers "George and Joseph". I would defiantly recommend trying their Harbourne Blue! It was devine. 

But it was not all food and drink, there was plenty for the children to enjoy. Including a petting zoo with lamas, donkeys, goats and cute little rabbits. There were also plenty of rides for both young and old to enjoy. 

If you were not able to come this year you missed out on something truly amazing. 

The good news is, there is still time for you to organise your trip to Harrogate so you won’t miss out next year!   

Be sure to book yourself onto a tasting session! They are the best part of the festival! A great way to sample new products or try some new flavours and combinations.  Everything from wine tasting, cheese tasting and cocktails for you to make. That was this year, who knows what next year will hold!
