As Boris’s latest instruction sinks in, we adjust to our new normal (again!)

More now than ever, we find our minds wandering and imagining our next break, and as the ‘stay at home’ message lifts, we may even want to take to the road to find our next holiday destination.

But what is it now that we are looking for in a break, that we perhaps weren’t before all of this?

Yes, home is where the heart is and it is our sanctuary, where we feel safe and where we lay our hat, but likewise, we are inherently creatures who need to spread our wings and enrich ourselves with a change of scene and new vistas.

What we once turned to as our go – to holiday spot, may well have changed. If we take a look closer to home, we live in a very beautiful island, proud and steeped in history. Reasonably small, and full of beautiful little corners.

We hope you may consider Harrogate in your holiday lusting list, we are a spa town which is both award winning and beautiful, with its perfect proximity to the Yorkshire Dales and Moors and Lakes of course. Likewise, we play host to Bettys – an International tourist attraction, mainly for its delicious Fat Rascal and have an events calendar Las Vegas would envy!
