If you love Crime Fiction then this is the event for you! This is something which comes to Harrogate year after year.
Wheels is where you do you get the chance to speak to your favourite crime writers, ask them questions and in some cases even sit down for tea!
The Old Swan
The Crime writing festival will once again be taking place at the Old Swan Hotel, which once played a part in a mystery of its own.
Like any good crime fan, I am sure you have heard of a certain Belgium Detective with a funny moustache, and the mysterious disappearance of his creator? If not I shall not spoil it for you as there will be ample opportunity to hear the story told- and if you are familiar then you know you will be in the right place for a crime festival.

Need Somewhere to Stay?
Most of our cottages are within walking distance of The Old Swan Hotel.
However, we would recommend using the Blue Line Taxi Service or a bus if you are less mobile.
All our cottages are located within easy walking distance of shops and supermarkets. For The Crime Writing Festival we would recommend staying in Artists Cottage, Artists Place or Artists Corner as they are the closest to the event.
