What's New in 2025! 

With Christmas only a few weeks away, and New Years plans already being made, let's take a look at what is coming to Harrogate in the new year. 

Festivals

There are many conferences and trade shows coming to Harrogate next year.  There is the Old Peculiar Crime Writers festival returning in July, Raworths Literature Festival, not to mention Thought Bubble Comic Con and The Comedy Festival- just to name a few! 

Walks 

There are so many amazing walks you can do in and around Harrogate. There is the monthly ghost walk- perfect for November- and the Harrogate walking tour, great for first time visitors. 

For those wishing to go a little further afield, we recommend a visit to Fewston and Swinsty Resevoirs,  or a walk down the Tolken Trail! Wanting to go further still? Check out the Yorkshire Three Peak challenge! 

Special events 

There are many events running throughout the year. The Great Yorkshire Show and RHS Illuminations are personal favourites of ours. 

Family 

Harrogate is perfect for families! We would defiantly recommend days out at Fountains Abbey and Harewood House. There are also serval beautiful castles, such as Bolton Abbey and Ripley Castle. All worth a visit!
