The Festival began in 1994 and is known for being one the most prestigious classical musical festivals in the uk.
Renowned musicians and singers from all around the uk will be taking part in this celebration of music and talent cumulating in an open air concert in the Aldborough Gardens. .
Past acts have included: Sir John Eliot Gardiner and the Monteverdi Choir, The Hallé, Royal Northern Sinfonia, the European Chamber Orchestra, The Kings Singers, singers Dame Anne Murray, Lesley Garrett, Lawrence Zazzo, Benjamin Hewlett, James Gilchrist and Elizabeth Watts
and many more!
The festival‘s aim is to bring the best classical music from around the world to the community of North Yorkshire.
Musicians taking part this year include: Trumpeter Matilda Lloyd, Jali Fily Cissokho and piano player Sunwook Kim
There will also be a talk by TV Historian Lucy Worsley on Agatha Christie: A Very Elusive Woman

The festival will run from the15th -24th June 2023.
