Winter at Stockeld Park
November 06, 2021Stockeld Park is the place to be this November and December. Their illuminations are back for another year, and they have some amazing events on for Christmas. Here is a quick overview on things to do at Stockeld Park this winter.
Illuminations
Located in the award-winning enchanted forest, every winter Stockeld Park put on an amazing light display. The illuminations are the largest and longest running in the whole of the UK.
You will be amazed as the forest transforms into a magical winter wonderland. Your children will feel as if they have stepped into the imagination of C.S Lewis.
The illuminations begin on Sunday 21st of November and run for the entire month of December through to early January.
Santa’s Grotto
That’s right children, Santa is coming to town! He will be popping into his Grotto at Stockeld Park from the 22nd of November 2021.
Santa loves his cosy wooden cabin, situated in his favourite place to visit. They always do a nice job for him. Just remember Santa does need to supervise those elves to make sure Christmas runs smoothly so be sure to check avavibility and pre-book your tickets before you arrive.
Santa’s Breakfast Pantomime
Why not join Santa for Breakfast and watch a special rendition of the Snow Queen? Suitable for all ages, however this Panto has been specifically intended for children.
Performances stating on 4th of December 2021 and running up until the 4th January 2022.
Other Activities
Ice Skating: Yes, the ice rink is back. Ice skates are available to rent on site. Remember to book in advance.
Skiing: Who doesn’t like a white Christmas? The Ski slope is back. All equipment is available on site. We recommend buying your tickets in advance.
