Our Elegantly Traditional Flagship Property

This elegantly proportioned traditional mid Terrace Victorian property has been furnished with a combination of antiques, modern and upcycled pieces making for a fusion of styles. Steeped in history, this house was built in the 1890s and is the perfect place to stay.

Well suited to families,  couples and to those coming on business and with a 10-minute walk in to Harrogate town centre and HCI, therefore, making for a great inner-town pad.  The Stray is a short walk as is the cycle path to Ripley. Local shops are within a few minutes walk on Kings Road (opposite side of Skipton Road via Grove Road and Chatsworth Place), including cafes, a small Sainsburys, Ramus fresh fish, a green grocers, florist, deli and a pharmacy.   There’s a local One Stop Shop  – turn left onto Skipton Road, or a Co-Op, Fish and Chip shop and Esso petrol station if you turn right onto Skipton Road.

The property is an ideal location from which to explore the Dales, Lakes and surrounding areas.

The two bedrooms are spacious, with a first-floor bathroom and separate WC the property is both practical and accommodating. The King Size beds can be split to give differing configurations upon request.

Travel cot, High Chair etc. available on request.  In this property it is possible to accommodate more children.  Please contact Artists’ Cottages for details.

This is a 19th century property with an original steep staircase with small treads, please use the handrails.  Stair gates cannot be fitted, so not suited to toddlers and young children.

Cosy Nights

The through sitting/dining room has a log burner in the sitting area making for lovely cosy afternoons and nights. The dining room table can accommodate 6 people.

Situated at High Harrogate, the house is a 2 minute walk to the Stray and 5 minute walk from the beautiful Christchurch church. You’ve also got a One Stop shop about 10 minutes down the road, and the shops on Kings Road are about a five minute walk via Grove Road and Chatsworth Place across Skipton Road.  Asda is located on Dragon Road – about 10 minutes on foot or a very short drive.

A short walk from the famous ‘Stray’ and a nearby walkway to Ripley, plus close by shops, cafes and pubs. There’s plenty to do!

The conference centre is approximately a 15 minute walk away.

The state of the art kitchen boasts a Miele pyrolytic oven, a Neff induction hob, under – counter fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel pots and pans, Arthur Price cutlery and a full range of utensils and serving dishes and plates.

The property has both a Smart TV which plays DVD’s and a record player that also plays CDs and cassettes. You can request vinyl from our collection.
